About Me
My Philosophy
I believe in holding space for my clients and making sure they feel safe, seen, and heard. I empower you by supporting you in making your own informed and intuitive decisions—you know your body and baby better than anyone else. While healthcare providers do a wonderful job making sure your little one is delivered safely, my main focus is on your specific needs, desires, emotions, and comfort. I’m here to witness you in your power and do all that I can to support you in your process. With the most care and respect, I will be a Guardian of your Birthing space.

My Story
I heard my calling into the birth world when I was in my teens. I knew I wanted to be a midwife from a young age, so when I was ready I entered the birth world as a doula to start my journey. Since then I have realized that my role as a doula is perhaps the truest calling for me as it feels like the most authentic way I can serve women and birth givers and honor the Feminine in the world at this time.

I grew up in the desert city of El Paso, Texas. Growing up in a border town gave me so many benefits and I appreciate the unique culture I grew up around so much. I always carry a piece of El Chuco Town in my heart wherever I go. When I was eighteen, I moved to the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills of Nevada City, California and immediately fell in love with the small mountain town. Aside from my two-year move to Utah, where I studied and received my DONA Doula training, I’ve lived in Nevada County ever since.

My Passions
I’m passionate about taking care of mothers and caregivers and recognize that the birthing journey is one of the most transformational periods in a person’s life. I honor this initiation into parenthood and love to witness the power that women find within themselves to bring life into the world. It’s truly amazing, empowering, and awe-filled.

My other passion in life is herbalism and I’ve been studying various aspects for the last 13 years. Another way I take care of people is with my company Naturalis which I created to provide organic self-care products to the people I feel need them most: mothers. I love learning about all kinds of things and am continuously educating myself in order to expand my horizons and broaden my perspective on life. My dream is to travel around the world and learn from different cultures and their birthing practices.

My Values
I value a natural lifestyle and living in tune with nature and the seasons. I’m down to earth and keep an open mind and heart to people from all walks of life. Radical inclusion and feminine empowerment are at the heart of all I do. I believe in holding birth as a sacred space, to be treated ceremoniously.
